FuriosaAI has partnered with Equinix to deploy its RNGD inference accelerator servers at the Equinix LS2 colocation facility in Lisbon, expanding artificial intelligence infrastructure for customers across the European market.
The deployment will provide AI inference capacity within the European Union, enabling organizations to access computing resources closer to regional operations while supporting applications that require low-latency AI processing.
The Lisbon-based infrastructure will host FuriosaAI’s RNGD accelerator servers, which are designed to optimize inference workloads—the stage of artificial intelligence where trained models process new data and generate predictions or responses.
The partnership reflects continued investment in regional AI infrastructure as technology providers seek to meet growing demand for inference computing. Locating AI hardware within the European Union may also help customers address data residency, regulatory and latency requirements.
