US equity markets ended higher on Friday, supported by declining Treasury yields and continued strength in risk assets.
The S&P 500 gained 0.36% to close at 7,422.50, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average advanced 0.51% to 51,506.00. The Nasdaq Composite posted a more modest gain of 0.09%, ending the session at 29,490.00.
In fixed-income markets, the yield on the 10-year US Treasury note fell 1.74% to 4.463%, providing support for equities as investors assessed the outlook for inflation and monetary policy.
In digital assets, Bitcoin rose 0.63% to $63,285.48, extending its recent advance and remaining above the closely watched $63,000 level.
Meanwhile, gold declined sharply, falling 15.66% to $4,237.50. The move came as easing geopolitical concerns and shifting risk sentiment reduced demand for traditional safe-haven assets.
The session reflected a broadly positive tone across financial markets, with equities and cryptocurrencies posting gains while Treasury yields retreated and precious metals came under pressure.
