U-Haul of Panama City Beach offers a three-story building with more than 500 indoor climate-controlled storage rooms at affordable price points. Customers also have access to moving trucks and a retail showroom with boxes and moving supplies.

“We are located in a rapidly growing area of Panama City Beach and will cater to a large customer base that has been underserved,” said Chad Rome, U-Haul Company of South Alabama president. “This is a new market for us in terms of a corporate store, so we’re very excited about this expansion and look forward to being a valued member of the business community.”
Rome is hiring up to 10 Team Members to help staff the facility. U-Haul seeks to hire locally to promote job growth within the communities it serves. U-Haul, founded by a WWII Navy veteran and honored as a Best for Vets employer by The Military Times, actively recruits veterans and gives them hiring preference.
U-Haul of Panama City Beach is the 172nd Company-owned store to open in Florida.
