Mercedes-AMG is at home on the world’s most famous racetracks, and this is exactly where the new 2025 AMG Experience on Track summer programme offers numerous opportunities to improve personal driving skills under the guidance of professional instructors. New to the on-track programme are the events Drift Special Boxberg and Pro Imola.
In addition to these exciting challenges, those interested in the AMG Experience on Road can experience pleasure and speed. Challenging serpentines, coastal roads with extensive views and inspiring locations beckon where the dynamics and performance of the latest Mercedes‑AMG models can be tested. The highlight here is the five-day trip Explore Mallorca. Participants experience the Spanish sunny island from unknown sides.
All events include culinary highlights and unforgettable moments. Whether day trips from Affalterbach, multi-day tours through Europe or unique events that combine performance on the racetrack and on the road, every AMG Experience promises exciting experiences that bring the fascination of Mercedes‑AMG to life.
AMG Experience on Track: driving training for every driving level
Whether curious, advanced or professional, the AMG Experience on Track covers all levels of capability and difficulty. The venues include the Mercedes‑Benz Test and Technology Centre in Immendingen, which is not normally open to the public. The same applies to the Boxberg test centre, which is a new addition to the programme. The Drift Special will also take place here for the first time. Here, drivers practise spectacular driving manoeuvres at the limit. The German racetracks Nürburgring and Hockenheimring as well as the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari in Imola, Italy, are also on the programme.
The half-day Discover programme forms the basis of the trainings. The focus here is on driving safety and getting to know the Mercedes‑AMG models. In the subsequent trainings Performance (one day) and Advanced (two days), participants can consolidate the basics of driving physics in practical exercises. In addition, the safe handling of performance vehicles and the application of Mercedes‑AMG driver assistance systems in challenging driving situations is covered. Participation in the two-day Pro event requires experience of having completed Advanced Training. Free driving on the racetrack offers a particularly intensive motorsport experience. The same applies to the Track Day at the Grand Prix course of the Nürburgring. Here, participants do not drive Mercedes‑AMG models but take their own performance and sports cars on one of the most famous tracks in the world.
AMG Experience on Road: enjoyable discovery tours and insights into the AMG brand world
The AMG Experience on Road focuses on enjoyable discovery tours in Germany, Austria and Spain. The Spirit of Affalterbach programme also offers exclusive insights into the Mercedes‑AMG brand world. The Summer Breeze programme allows its participants to experience the handling and driving enjoyment of the current Mercedes‑AMG models during a half-day drive. The event starts at the five-star superior Wald- und Schlosshotel Friedrichsruhe, one of the most renowned hotels in Germany. Participants will be able to explore the winding roads and scenic views of the Hohenlohe region with professional instructors.
Experience the “Spirit of Affalterbach” up close
Be immersed in the world of the Mercedes‑AMG brand in one day with the Spirit of Affalterbach programme. The factory’s own engine manufactory brings the fascination of “One Man, One Engine” to life. A varied route around Affalterbach provides an unforgettable experience on a guided drive. Among other things, the instructors show how the driving programmes are ideally used to feel the wide range between performance and comfort.
Five days of pure enjoyment with performance on Mallorca
The five-day Explore Mallorca event in mid-October 2025 promises picturesque places, winding mountain passes and breathtaking coastal roads. From an overnight stay at an exclusive estate to Mallorcan cuisine and discovering different sides of Spain’s most popular island, this trip leaves nothing to be desired.
Insider experience with the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula 1™ team
Glamour, adrenaline and thrills: the five-day Formula 1™ meets G-Class Special Spielberg event from June 26 to 30, 2025, turns participants into insiders of the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula 1™ team at the Grand Prix race in Austria at the Red Bull Ring.
The event begins with a challenging off-road adventure on the course of the G‑Class Experience Centre in Graz. Here, participants navigate the iconic G‑Class through deep waters, over rough terrain and up and down extreme inclines. On the following days, the latest Mercedes‑AMG performance and sports car models are driven through the breathtaking landscape of Styria. On day three, qualifying for the Austrian Grand Prix can also be watched from the F1 Paddock Club. Furthermore, safety car driver Bernd Mayländer will lead an exclusive Safety Garage Tour. An exclusive VIP dinner in the F1 team’s motorhome rounds off the day.
On race day, participants fly by helicopter directly to the Austrian heart of motorsport – the Red Bull Ring. Here they meet the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula 1™ team in person and experience the breathtaking speed of motorsport’s premier class up close. Pit-lane walks, pitstops and live interviews broaden the horizon.
The best of two worlds combined
The Track meets Road Special Nürburgring programme combines lifestyle and performance that goes to the limit. The programme starts on the first day with a drive through the winding Eifel. Here, participants experience the fascination of AMG in one of the most beautiful driving regions in Germany and indulge in culinary delights. The next day, the focus is on the intensive driving experience on the Nürburgring Grand Prix circuit. Driving dynamics training and workshops on new safety technologies are organised as part of the AMG Performance Training.
Driving pleasure on snow and ice
Those who want to enjoy winter to the fullest will get their money’s worth at the AMG Experience on Ice events. Until the end of March 2025, participants can experience pure driving pleasure on a frozen lake and specially prepared routes in Sweden.
The vehicle fleet: the Mercedes-AMG portfolio in all its facets
The fleet deployed includes all drive types and applications as well as different body styles. It ranges from models with classic V8 engines to performance hybrids and purely battery-electric vehicles. Depending on the event format and option package, the vehicles are either single or double-occupied.
