Thanks to this collaboration, the laboratories and departments of the University of L’Aquila will have the opportunity to test and validate technologies developed by Tomahawk, contributing to applied research and the training of students and researchers. The agreement includes the joint development of innovative projects, the sharing of technological know-how, and the creation of advanced training programs for young talents.

“The signing of this agreement represents a key moment for the future of technological innovation in Italy and the rest of the world. Collaboration between universities and businesses is essential to tackle global market challenges and develop cutting-edge solutions,” stated  Gianluca Scarponi, CEO of Tomahawk.

A New Chapter for Technological Innovation
This partnership allows both entities to benefit from strategic advantages. The University of L’Aquila will have direct access to the most advanced technologies developed by Tomahawk, enabling its researchers to test their effectiveness and contribute to their optimization. At the same time, Tomahawk will leverage academic expertise to refine its technological solutions, ensuring increasingly high-performance and competitive products in the global market.

During the meeting, the faculty showed particular enthusiasm for Tomahawk’s technology, and the Rector of the University of L’Aquila (UNIV.AQ), Prof. Edoardo Alesse, stated: “We are excited to collaborate with an emerging entrepreneurial entity from our Abruzzo region.”

The main areas of intervention of the agreement include:

  • Joint research and development on emerging technologies, electric mobility, artificial intelligence, and advanced automation.
  • Testing and validation of solutions developed by Tomahawk within the laboratories of the University of L’Aquila.
  • Internship and training programs for students, offering professional growth opportunities through hands-on experience in real research projects.
  • Industrial innovation, with particular attention to environmental sustainability and energy efficiency.

A Concrete Commitment to the Future
This collaboration fits into a broader vision of growth for the Abruzzo region, aiming to make it a reference center for research and technological development. The agreement will enable investment attraction, the creation of skilled jobs, and the promotion of innovative technologies in the local industrial fabric.

“Our goal is to create an environment where technology can be tested, perfected, and applied to improve quality of life and industrial competitiveness. With this partnership, we aim to build a bridge between academic research and industrial innovation, generating value for both parties,” added Gianluca Scarponi.

Tomahawk thus reaffirms its commitment to being a leader in technological innovation, strengthening its role as a key player in the sector, and promoting collaboration between industry and academia.
