Markets Rally as Investors Embrace Risk Assets Following Geopolitical Breakthrough

U.S. financial markets advanced sharply on Monday as investors moved into risk assets following easing geopolitical tensions and improving sentiment across global markets.

The S&P 500 gained 1.26% to close at 7,528.75, while the Nasdaq Composite climbed 1.87% to 30,218.00, supported by strength in technology and artificial intelligence-related stocks. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 1.00% to 52,121.00.

Digital assets also participated in the rally, with Bitcoin advancing 2.46% to $65,836.77, reflecting renewed investor appetite for higher-risk investments.

Meanwhile, gold rose 2.13% to $4,328.90 per ounce, highlighting continued demand for diversification despite stronger equity markets.

In fixed-income markets, the yield on the 10-year U.S. Treasury increased to 4.487%, indicating that investors continue to monitor inflation expectations and the outlook for monetary policy.

The gains across equities, cryptocurrencies, and commodities underscored a broad shift in market sentiment as investors assessed developments in global energy markets, central bank policy expectations, and economic growth prospects.
