President Joseph R. Biden, Jr. today announced the full designation of the Presidential Delegations to Paris, France to attend the Opening and Closing Ceremonies and events of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
First Lady Jill Biden will lead the delegation to the Opening of the Olympic Games. The Opening Ceremony will take place on July 26, 2024.

T.H. Chris Coons, United States Senator, Delaware
T.H. Alex Padilla, United States Senator, California
T.H. Karen Bass, Mayor of Los Angeles, California
Mr. Casey Wasserman, Chairperson, LA28 Olympic & Paralympic Games
Mr. Brian Boitano, three-time Olympian and Olympic gold medalist, Figure Skating
Ms. Dawn Staley, Head Women’s Basketball Coach, University of South Carolina, and three-time Olympic gold medalist, Women’s Basketball
Second Gentleman Douglas Emhoff will lead the delegation to the Closing of the Olympic Games. The Closing Ceremony will take place on August 11, 2024.
