NexCore (or the “Company”), a leading provider of commercial HVAC services in the United States, announced another year of tremendous growth in 2024. Over the past year, the Company expanded its footprint and enhanced its service capabilities by acquiring six commercial HVAC service-focused contractors in key markets in the Northeast and Southeast.

NexCore’s growth strategy in 2024 was driven by three platform acquisitions of best-in-class companies in New York and the Carolinas, with operations extending into South Carolina, Tennessee, and Florida. Additionally, three tuck-in acquisitions bolstered the Company’s presence in the Carolinas and Vermont. These acquisitions were strategically aligned with NexCore’s focus on preventative maintenance services, exceptional customer service, and strong market positions. As a result of this expansion, NexCore’s team has grown to over 700 employees across 8 locations.

“Our growth in 2024 reflects our commitment to building a broad presence while enhancing our ability to deliver top-tier services to our customers,” said Steve Knowles, CEO of NexCore. “The response from sellers has been overwhelmingly positive, and we are honored to build upon the legacies these company owners have established. We remain focused on acquiring additional businesses that align with our core service offerings and further strengthening our reputation for exceptional customer service and employee experience. I want to thank our entire team for an outstanding year, and we look forward to continued growth and success in 2025 and beyond.”

Since its founding in 2023, NexCore has completed eight acquisitions. The company was established when Trinity Hunt Partners, a leading private equity firm, made a strategic investment in Alliance Group to create a buy-and-build platform for commercial facility services. Together, Trinity Hunt Partners and the NexCore executive team are driving the Company’s growth, with a focus on delivering industry-leading commercial HVAC and plumbing services to its customers.

“2024 was a landmark year for NexCore, marked by significant growth and expansion,” said Brian Nienstedt, Chief Development Officer of NexCore. “We are incredibly proud of our team’s accomplishments, including the successful acquisition and integration of some of the nation’s top HVAC service-oriented contractors. I am especially grateful for the partnerships we’ve forged and look forward to building on this momentum as we move into 2025.”

NexCore is actively seeking opportunities to expand its platform with like-minded partner companies in the commercial HVAC industry. For more information, please visit www.nxcus.com.
