Korea Investment & Securities has partnered with South Korean fashion platform Musinsa to launch the fifth edition of the Hantwo Battle real-investment competition, expanding efforts to engage younger investors through cross-platform digital experiences.
The initiative targets South Korea’s MZ generation—a term commonly used to describe Millennials and Generation Z—by combining stock investing with promotional events across both companies’ mobile applications.
Finance and Fashion Platforms Join Forces
The partnership links one of South Korea’s largest securities firms with one of its leading online fashion marketplaces, reflecting a broader trend of collaboration between financial institutions and consumer-focused digital platforms.
Participants in the Hantwo Battle competition will be able to take part in real-investment challenges while accessing joint promotional benefits available through both the Korea Investment & Securities and Musinsa apps.
The companies said the initiative is designed to increase engagement among younger consumers by integrating investing activities with digital lifestyle platforms already widely used by the target demographic.
Competition Aims to Expand Retail Investor Participation
The Hantwo Battle program has become a recurring initiative for Korea Investment & Securities as it seeks to encourage retail investing through competitive, app-based experiences.
By partnering with Musinsa, the brokerage broadens its reach beyond traditional financial channels, tapping into a large community of digitally active consumers.
While financial terms of the partnership were not disclosed, the initiative underscores the growing role of strategic collaborations in South Korea’s digital financial services market, where fintech innovation and lifestyle platforms increasingly intersect.
