Potência feminina na indústria de franquias e animais de estimação nomeada entre as empresárias mais influentes do país
Marking a historic milestone for the Scenthound brand, Co-Founder and Chief Brand Officer Jessica Vogel has been named to the prestigious Inc. 2025 Female Founders 500 List. Now in its eighth year, the ranking honors female leaders who are transforming their industries and challenging the status quo. With over 66% of U.S. households now owning a pet, Vogel’s commitment to the brand’s vision has propelled Scenthound from an innovative concept to an industry disruptor—redefining dog wellness and enriching the connection between people and their dogs.
Under Vogel’s leadership, Scenthound experienced a year of strong momentum in 2024. The brand expanded significantly, securing 63 new franchise agreements and opening 46 Scenters—including its 100th location. This growth drove a 78% increase in system-wide revenue, as Scenthound reached a milestone of over one million dog appointments completed nationwide—reinforcing its commitment to routine hygiene and wellness care.
“Being named to the Inc. Female Founders 500 List is an incredible honor, but it’s truly a reflection of the amazing team and franchisees who bring Scenthound’s mission to life every day,” says Jessica Vogel, Co-Founder and Chief Brand Officer of Scenthound. “Our success is driven by the dedication, passion, and hard work of everyone in our system—from our corporate team to the franchise owners and the frontline employees caring for dogs nationwide. This recognition isn’t just about me—it’s about all of us, working together to make preventive care more accessible and improve the lives of dogs and their families. I’m so grateful to be surrounded by such a committed team, and this achievement is a testament to what we’ve built together.”
With a corporate team largely made up of females and more than 50% of its franchise system being women, Scenthound was recently recognized on Franchise Business Review’s 2025 Top Franchises for Women list. Today, with 128 Scenters operating across 24 states, Scenthound’s unique wellness approach is resonating strongly with pet parents—especially women, who make up the majority of its target demographic. Women being at the helm on the corporate and franchisee levels provides a distinct advantage in understanding and serving the needs of the brand’s core customer base.
“Female founders know what struggle is, but they’re also experts of improvisation, adaptability, and creativity. The women featured on this year’s list exemplify these qualities,” says Diana Ransom, Executive Editor of Inc. “Through times of uncertainty, their unwavering dedication and steadfast leadership are not only inspiring but vital to driving progress.”
Each year, Inc. editors review thousands of applications highlighting female founders who are challenging the status quo and tackling some of the world’s biggest problems, and cull applicants through three rounds of judging. Criteria include quantifiable metrics such as revenue, sales, revenue growth, funding, and audience size. Inc. also looks for qualitative metrics including social media momentum and stories of impact.
