Post Malone to Headline Red Kettle Kickoff Halftime Show During Dallas Cowboys’ Thanksgiving Day Game

Global music superstar Post Malone, a nine-time diamond-certified artist, will take center stage at this year’s Red Kettle Kickoff Halftime Show during the Dallas Cowboys’ Thanksgiving Day matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs. The nationally televised performance on CBS at 3:30 p.m. CST on November 27, 2025 will officially launch The Salvation Army’s 135th Red Kettle Campaign, one of the most recognized and longest-running charitable fundraising initiatives in the country.

Now marking its 29th year, the Red Kettle Kickoff has become a defining Thanksgiving tradition for the Cowboys, signaling the start of the holiday giving season and drawing attention to the millions of Americans who depend on The Salvation Army’s services throughout the year.

A Hometown Connection

For Post Malone, taking the stage at AT&T Stadium carries personal significance. His family moved to the Dallas–Fort Worth area when he was young, after his father, Rich Post, joined the Dallas Cowboys organization.
“I’m from Texas. I grew up a Cowboys fan and have watched this halftime show for years,” Malone said. “It’s an honor to be part of the Red Kettle Kickoff with The Salvation Army and the Dallas Cowboys and help bring hope to so many people.”

A Campaign That Changes Lives

“The Red Kettle Campaign is more than tradition — it’s a lifeline,” said Charlotte Jones, chief brand officer and co-owner of the Dallas Cowboys. “Every ring of the bell is a reminder of how small acts of generosity can spark real joy. We’re proud to stand with The Salvation Army again this year and thrilled that Post Malone, one of our biggest fans, will bring his incredible energy to audiences nationwide.”

As the nation’s largest private provider of social services, The Salvation Army operates more than 7,400 centers across the United States. These facilities deliver food assistance, shelter, housing support, disaster relief, and community-based programs to nearly 28 million people annually. The organization’s work is made possible by the generosity of donors who give at red kettles, online, and through volunteerism.

“For nearly three decades, the Dallas Cowboys and the Gene and Jerry Jones family have stood shoulder-to-shoulder with us,” said Commissioner Merle Heatwole, national commander of The Salvation Army. “Their commitment has helped us extend hope and care to millions, and we are deeply grateful to Post Malone for helping us ring in the holiday season.”

A Year of Heightened Need

Economic uncertainty has placed additional pressure on families across the country, leaving both historically vulnerable communities and households facing new hardships in urgent need of support. Every contribution to the Red Kettle Campaign stays in the community where it is given, ensuring that help reaches local families directly.
