AI voice startup ElevenLabs has raised $500 million in a new funding round led by Sequoia Capital, valuing the company at $11 billion—more than triple its valuation from last year, according to The Wall Street Journal.
The funding round underscores strong investor appetite for generative AI companies with clear commercial traction. ElevenLabs has reached $330 million in annual recurring revenue, driven by rapid adoption of its voice technology across enterprise customers, the report said.
The company plans to use the fresh capital to expand beyond voice generation into a broader suite of conversational AI agents capable of speaking, typing, and taking actions on behalf of users, positioning itself as a more comprehensive AI interaction platform.
The deal and strategic direction were also reported by TechCrunch, CNBC, and Yahoo Finance, highlighting ElevenLabs’ growing prominence in the competitive AI landscape as enterprises increasingly deploy voice and conversational technologies at scale.
